Rouget à bandes sombres  –  Freckled goatfish  –  ( Upeneus tragula )  –  Mullidaes

Le rouget à bandes sombres a le corps blanc à beige argenté tacheté de marron rougeâtre. Les deux barbillons sous la lèvre inférieure sont jaune vif. Une bande horizontale part du museau, passe par l’oeil et se termine sur la queue. Le dos est ponctué de petits points, la partie ventrale comporte de larges taches espacées. Les nageoires dorsales ont une tache foncée avec un point jaune sur la première. Les nageoires pelviennes sont jaunes tachées de marron. La nageoire caudale est fourchue et rayée de marron.

The goatfish has dark bands white body spotted silver beige reddish brown. Two barbels under the lower lip are bright yellow. A horizontal band from the snout through the eye and ends on the tail. The back is dotted with small dots, the ventral part has wide spaced spots. The dorsal fins have a dark spot with a yellow dot on the first. The pelvic fins are yellow stained brown. The caudal fin is forked and striped brown.
